New Kids on the Block
Thebarton is stepping up the venue game, there are 2 new additions to the inner West and they’re next-door neighbours. On the corner of Stirling St and Winwood St, is new café Thirty-Five Stirling and brewery Brightstar Brewing. Just down the road from Bloom, making that corner of Thebarton a hot spot with plenty of variety!
Thirty-Five Stirling is in a refurbished factory with exposed piping, polished concrete flooring and swing seats. The perfect spot for a weekend brunch with coffee, cocktails, pastries, breakfast staples and some brunch delights like bao buns and spiced cauliflower too. The real star of this venue though is the staff, they make you feel warmly welcomed and like part of the family.

The friendly next-door neighbour to Thirty-Five Stirling café is Brightstar Brewing. It may be near the old West End brewery, but don't worry the beer is nothing like the old red tins. This brewery follows the Belgium brewing process to a tee, the beers are super easy to drink and there are a few with a twist; like the Cucumberliner, crisp and refreshing on a hot day, or for an any season beer, grab a Schwarzbier. Just past the bar you can see the brewing in action, the taps are directly hooked up to the tanks, it doesn’t get much fresher! Perfect for a big group too with traditional beer hall long tables inside and a large grassed area outside for picnic rugs and lawn games.

So make a day of it, head on down to Thebarton, and grab brunch, then a brew. Or coffee before an afternoon brewery sesh. Or can’t go past Bloom while down that end of town, don’t, maybe a little bar crawl in Thebarton with all 3! All venues have great indoor areas so perfect to visit all year round.
